Soooo, long time no see. We have been really busy over here with real life and organizing all the goodies for the upcoming events were doing. I’ve taken the time though to group together a rather large list of my recent favorites that i have found spinning around the blogosphere and am putting them up here for you.
First off, your goodship DJ’s will be playing this friday (the 8th) at the Fuze Box in Albany as part of MassiveAudio.

so here ya go:
Rolf Honey - Blast up! (Yuksek edit)
Killer song. I really got into Yuksek when i heard that digitalism composer re-work, and im glad that i found another super smooth track of his i can drop now.
Bradhed - GirlsAndBoyz(Vandalism Club Mix)
I’m constantly searching for tunes that i like that aren’t heavy bangers. I got into dance music through all of the super heavy stuff because it was what i was immediately into, so now im trying to branch out when i can to some stuff thats not as heavy hitter, so i can diversify my playstyle when i need to. This song actually has a nice little part in it with some heavy 4 on the floor, but its not as strong as most of the other tracks i play.
Cazals - To Cut a Long Story Short (Rafale Ultra Remix)
The Voice in here is pretty addictive, and the indy hop dance drumbeat in the background is equally withdrawal inducing. It’s one of many songs that i think il be using as a bit of an interlude in my upcoming sets. It builds pretty nicely as well.
The Bloody Beetroots - Detroit (Ghetto Edit)
What you would expect from the Beetroots. Totally heavy and in your face, prime dance floor tune.
DGTAL - Sunny
I forget what blog i saw this on, but its a rework of a really old song I believe. It’s really got some good vibe and soul in it, almost disco-y feeling, but what would I know about disco at 22. I feel like its a good song to get people out on the floor.
Elektrons - PeteSimpsonSoup Get up (Herve gets Down Remix)
Hervalicious! Got that awesome wet thwumpy sound that i love from herve, and top notch vocal clipping. Meshes perfectly with all that sinden, sinden & Count of Monte stuff. He always has the hottest buildups to, they work so good in a mix.
Primary 1 - Hold Me Down(shoes Remix)
There is still a small chunk of indy kid in me, and there is a big chunky of indyness in the dancer scene that we are building in troy. This song is addictive as all get out, and despite its content it sounds pretty chipper.
Boyz Noize - My Head (Para One Remix)
The cream of the crop as far as I’m concerned. My favorite on the list. Great melody line, and really gets bangin as it goes. Deffinitely a song I’m itching to play in the next few weeks.
