We are super excited about the TNO afterparty this month. And when I say super, I’m talking boiling water in the microwave only to have the whole cup explode when you drop the Earl Grey in there. Exploding water excited. That’s huge yo.

So why, you ask? Aficionado is playing. This band is not a band, it is band. There are like 400 people in it, half of which drink Earl Grey (Twining’s of course), so they get my vote. Think epic. Epic exploding water excitement. Or Epicly exciting water explosions. Either way you spin it, it’s good shit. Check them out:

And that’s just part one. We are Architects are back for another mind bending dance set. AND, we got pelham123 all the way from Brooklyn. You may remember him from September, where he opened up for Mattie Safer from the Rapture. Lucky for you, we happened to have recorded that. It’s a trip from old school party jams to new school bass. 90 minutes long, and what a transition from the 10 o clock “i need a drink” phase to the 11:30 “shake my ass like a schoolgirl in heat” phase. that’s right, he’s good.

Last, we never really do enough (in my opinion) to promote and explain what’s going with the video. First off, for those who don’t know, there is a dude with a computer up in that little crow’s nest making the video as we go along. Troy folks should know all about that. ;) Second, these guys are doing amazing stuff.

We got skfl, who does something along the lines of taking My Bloody Valentine’s “Loveless” and transposing it to your eyes. Then we got Blar, who’s ninja mastery of the art is kinda beyond me and I just stare a lot. Talk about epic…. yeah that’s all I’m gonna say about video in Troy. But if you do want to find out more, how it works, how to get started doing video, etc., just ask somebody from Troy, the unofficial product testing zone for Vidvox. If they don’t know what you’re talking about, try someone a bit more important looking. All the important people use Vidvox. The mayor just did video for Justice, if I’m not mistaken (I think I might be).

So come out this Friday! Learn about video, superheat some water, and epicly shake it.
